Introducing the 2024 ALA Girls Nation president and vice president

Cameron Mirmelli, Scottsdale, Ariz. (above, left), has been elected as the 2024 ALA Girls Nation president. Her vice president is Isabella Windmiller of Willard, Mo. They ran under the Federalist Party ticket.

Mirmelli and Windmiller were elected on Wednesday, July 24. Their inauguration was held on Thursday, July 25.

Back home in Arizona, Mirmelli participates in Mock Trial, plays basketball, and is president of the Spanish Honor Society. She is also the founder of PurpleLining.com, a blog and social media platform dedicated to young people to share opinions and ideas. 

Windmiller is involved in several activities at her high school. She is on the Speech and Debate team, Leadership Team, Chamber Choir, theatre, and National Honor Society.
